InTime training also looks after your well being outside the office via our provision of coaching and fitness training with InTime Kayak training. This service offers coaching for recreational and competitive ocean kayak technique.
Westley Field is the Managing Director of InTime Training. Westley is a world reknown speaker having presented regularly over the last decade in countries across the world on topics associated with Transforming Learning. His topics have included Future Trends in Education, How spaces affect learning, Designed for learning (Curriculum and environment designs), Virtual worlds and learning, Building 1 to 1 environments for learning, Heuristics of implementing elearning, Educational Technology, Connecting Students in a Web 2.0 world and Leading in a Flat World..
Currently Westley work as Director of Learning Innovation at Waverley College where he has establish the ‘Liverate’ initiative. This sees staff and students developing curriculum, teaching and learning in ways that are appropriate for modern schooling.
Westley was also the founding Director of the ‘Skoolaborate’ Initiative. A ‘world first’ initiative that saw 12 countries sharing learning experiences via virtual worlds, online units and video conferencing technologies.
Recently Westley was Director of Online Learning at MLC School in Sydney. In this capacity Westley worked closely with world leading Principal Barbara Stone to transform learning at MLC into an outstanding example of a blended learning environment. At the time they worked together MLC school was in the top 20 schools within Australia also reaching the top 5 schools in the International Baccalaureate.
In 2008 Westley received the ASLA John Lee Award for innovative use of IT in learning. Westley has previously received a Churchill Fellowship, Computerworld Honours (Smithsonian), Apple Distinguished Educator, Macromedia Ed Leader and Adobe Ed Leader for his work with schools and communities. Westley is also on the Board of the NSW and Sydney branches of the Australian Council of Educational Leaders having being made a fellow of ACEL.
